CONCRETE
Scanning

Dixie uses a method called Ground Penetrating Radar, or GPR. GPR is commonly used for Rebar Detection, Detecting Post Tension Cable, Locating of Pipes and Conduits, and to locate any voids in a concrete structure.

GPR uses radar pulses to penetrate the subsurface with high frequency antennas. This creates an image called a Radargram. A trained GPR technician is needed to interpret and transfer the data to its location on the concrete surface.

GPR detects objects embedded within the concrete, but does not identify the type of material that is embedded. Our GPR Technicians are highly trained and experienced. Each of our Technicians are trained by the manufacturer as well as being Certified by the Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association.
